Spring Produce Bugs
We talk about the food we consume quite often and not about the farming practices as much. So here is that quick blurb! Did you know we love our farmers? So much so that we have a daily count in our produce department of what product comes from a local farmer. This is a 365 day job and not only by the farmer, but the ecosystem he creates and the bugs and insects that thrive in their environment. Speaking of bugs we have some relatively cute ones that are a fun craft for the kids to make and remember that not all bugs are bad in the ‘garden’ and they can sometimes help produce the delicious foods we eat.
