Tis the season for a holiday review! With all the fun flavorful items popping up throughout the store we’ve rounded up a few of our favorites from nutritious to downright delicious. 

Vital Proteins Peppermint Mocha Collagen Creamer

Made with coconut milk powder this creamer delivers the perfect burst of seasonal flavor to your coffee or hot chocolate. With 130 calories per serving it can be a big load to take on and if used within your appropriate calorie range it’s easy to enjoy. Make some adjusting and enjoy all this season has to offer. We personally half the serving size to take it down tro traditional heavy cream and it still delivers a warm fuzzy feeling. 

Celestial Seasonings Sugar Plum Fairy Tea or Mandarin Orange Spice Tea

Who doesn’t love a cozy beverage to help wind down their evening? While we know fluid intake before bed can be a tricky one to tackle depending on who you are, these teas are great choices to have as options. They are caffeine free and allow you to taste the sugar plums that dance around in your head or the traditional orange spice that may or may not be strung up on your tree. Either way these teas are wonderful to add this season and bring the vibes. 

Califia Farms Almond Beverage EggNog

Are you not yet a fan of eggnog but still trying to appreciate it? Are you a fan of eggnog but want something slightly less sugar filled? For both of these situations, I love suggesting this beverage. It hits all the high points of eggnog without being overpowering and as your friendly neighborhood dietitians, we’re always looking for better-for-you-alternatives.

Dandies Peppermint Marshmallows

We love a plethora of marshmallows sitting on top of our hot chocolate and anytime there’s something to try that’s a better-for-you trend we’re going to jump on it for you. Dandies is known for the no-gluten and no-gelatin marshmallow goodness. The flavor really hits home and even if you want a more subtle peppermint finish, half it with regular dandies and you’ve got yourself a real winter winner.

Terry’s Orange Flavored Dark Chocolate

Chocolate is one of both of our favorite items so we can’t pass up this classic. Fresh citrus is in season this time of year and when it’s in our chocolate it’s an even bigger win. The benefits of dark chocolate are endless. Give this as a stocking stuffer and or be sure to stick to a portion size.
