Cinnamon Sugar Bunnies
We dialed back the sugar but turned up the cuteness on these cute easter bunnies! A perfect indulgence for your easter spread.
What You Need
- 1 pkg. Frozen Puff Pastry Sheets (17.3 oz, 2 sheets in package)
- 1 Tbsp. Butter, melted
- 3 Tbsp. Cinnamon
- ⅛ C. Sugar
- Optional: Spray Whipped Cream
How It’s Made:
- Preheat oven to 400
- Melt butter
- Line a baking sheet with parchment paper
- On a nonstick surface place down 1 sheet of puff pastry
- Brush melted butter on puff pastry
- Combine sugar and cinnamon
- Sprinkle on cinnamon mixture leaving ½ inch on both sides clear
- Layer on top the second sheet of puff pastry and crip the sides
- Cut ½ inch strips horizontally
- Twist 2 times, leaving a 1 inch hole at the bottom and the cinnamon line facing up
- Place on parchment paper
- Bake for 15-17 minutes
- Optional: once cooled, spray a bit of cool whip on the circle part as a tail
